ABOUT THE ROLE
As an EMBEDDED SOFTWARE ENGINEER, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DEVELOPING, INTEGRATING, AND TESTING EMBEDDED SOFTWARE COMPONENTS WITHIN THE AUTOSAR framework. You’ll collaborate with system architects, software developers, and test engineers to ensure seamless software performance and compliance with automotive standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and test embedded software components using C WITHIN AUTOSAR CLASSIC OR ADAPTIVE PLATFORM.
- Configure and integrate AUTOSAR BSW MODULES AND RTE.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for software integration and validation.
- Perform DEBUGGING, UNIT TESTING, AND VERIFICATION ACCORDING TO ASPICE AND ISO 26262 standards.
- Troubleshoot low-level software issues and optimize performance on microcontroller-based platforms.
- Work with CAN, LIN, ETHERNET, AND UDS COMMUNICATION PROTOCOLS.
- Use tools such as VECTOR DAVINCI, CANOE/CANALYZER, GIT, JENKINS, JIRA, AND CONFLUENCE to manage workflows efficiently.
WHO YOU ARE
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer passionate about embedded systems and automotive software development.
YOUR PROFILE:
- B.SC. OR M.SC. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN EMBEDDED SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, PREFERABLY WITHIN THE AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY.
- Strong programming skills in C OR C++ (low-level embedded systems).
- Proven experience with AUTOSAR (Classic and/or Adaptive).
- Familiarity with VECTOR TOOLS (DAVINCI CONFIGURATOR/DEVELOPER, PREEVISION).
- Knowledge of FUNCTIONAL SAFETY (ISO 26262) AND ASPICE processes is beneficial.
- Experience with DEBUGGING TOOLS SUCH AS LAUTERBACH TRACE32 OR CANOE.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
NICE TO HAVE:
- Experience with C++ OR PYTHON SCRIPTING.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/SIMULINK for model-based development.
