ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for validating software and firmware for embedded products (e.g., IoT), cloud solutions, and mobile apps. Your main goal is to ensure that products and services meet requirements and to promote quality awareness within the company. The role is a hybrid between manual and automated testing and requires knowledge of software design as well as a strong ability to troubleshoot.
You will have clear tasks but are also encouraged to be proactive and drive your own initiatives where you see a need. The role is part of a team of four and is being filled due to parental leave. Initially, there will be a training period alongside the current employee, providing a secure start. The assignment is time-limited but with good opportunities for long-term engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Tasks
- Write and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories
- Produce test reports with defect percentages, coverage, and relevant metrics
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes
- Conduct regression tests after bug fixes and new features
- Collaborate closely with the Scrum team to define functional and non-functional requirements
- Create and organize documentation
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Has a university degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Engineering or Software Development
- Has 1-5 years of work experience in software/firmware quality assurance and automated testing
- Is fluent in Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as having good knowledge of English
- Masters Python and/or object-oriented programming and BDD/Gherkin syntax
- Has good knowledge of testing processes and tools such as Selenium WebDriver
- Is familiar with agile methods and has experience with Json, SQL, SDLC, CI/CD
- Understands the difference between Black-, Gray-, and White-box testing
- Is analytical, problem-solving, and communicative with the ability to manage deadlines
