Your Role

As a Software Asset Manager (SAM), you will have the main responsibility for ensuring effective management of software licenses, costs, and agreements within our IT environment. You will work closely with both IT and procurement to ensure that we have the right licenses, the right number, and at the right cost.

In addition to the SAM area, which is your main focus, you will also handle regular IT administrative tasks. The distribution between SAM and IT administration may vary over time and be shaped according to the needs of the business.

Main Responsibilities

• Management of orders in our ticket management system
• Invoice review and cost follow-up
• Administration and support regarding our services, software orders, and license management
• Handling subscription issues and user support
• Dialogue with suppliers and follow-up on agreements and licenses
• Ensuring that internal processes are followed and developed

The position is intended as a consultancy assignment for 12 months with very good opportunities for recruitment or takeover for the right person. Ängelholm is the main location for the position. The organization applies a hybrid setup with the possibility of remote work about 1–2 days a week. For the right person, there is also the possibility to be based in Malmö, with the expectation of regular presence in Ängelholm, especially during the introduction period. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled as soon as the right candidate is identified. 

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in Software Asset Management and license management (requirement)
• Good understanding of different license models and agreements
• Experience with tools like Xensam, Flexera, Snow, or similar
• Ability to analyze costs and optimize license usage
• A structured and analytical approach with a focus on details
• Experience in IT administrative tasks and systematic work within IT support or procurement
