About the Position

In the role of strategic buyer focused on procurement of contracts, you will drive the entire procurement process according to LUF, the Public Procurement Act within the supply sectors, in the projects you are responsible for. You will work cross-functionally and in close collaboration with the internal client, the project manager for the project, technical specialists, the person responsible for sustainability issues, and legal advisors.

You will work closely with your project groups but will also have support from your procurement colleagues to collectively leverage the collective capability.

The mission of the procurement function is to support Svenska kraftnät's operations and transformation journey through the development of leadership, culture, brand, and operations. The procurement department is growing and is facing a development process to optimize the procurement business. Therefore, we are looking for a strategic buyer with experience and interest in procurement of contracts for our unit - where you are also expected to contribute to the strategic category management work by supporting the category manager as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the procurement process in the projects you are responsible for.
• Project manage and ensure delivery and goal fulfillment to the clients you collaborate with.
• Strategically work on business development by supporting the category.
• Cross-functional and close collaboration internally and externally.

You will work closely with your clients but will also have support from your procurement colleagues to collectively leverage the collective capability.

The procurement department currently consists of about 45 employees including consultants who work with the procurement of maintenance-related services, power products, contracts, consultants, direct and indirect materials, IT, and the electricity market. You will belong to the unit Procurement Stations and Maintenance, which currently consists of 9 employees, including consultants. As a strategic buyer, there are rich opportunities for development within procurement as well as personal development within Svenska kraftnät, as well as exchanging experiences with colleagues who have long been active in the industry. The procurement department actively works on change initiatives to continuously develop the procurement operations and is characterized by inclusion, team spirit, openness, and collegial atmosphere.

About You

Requirements:

Personal qualities. In this role, it is important that you are relationship-building with a high ability to collaborate and enjoy working with many contact points internally and externally. You have a good overview and act independently to achieve set goals and deliver to the organization and the clients you collaborate with. As a strategic buyer, you are structured and attentive to the client and use your profession to keep the procurement process together. You also act commercially in your decisions and in your advice to the client, where quality is key, while considering others' perspectives and appreciating following the regulations we operate under.

Education

A relevant education for the position such as a business economist, civil engineer, lawyer, or similar, or equivalent competence acquired in another way.

You also have:

• At least three years of experience in strategic procurement and at least 5 years in procurement.
• Several years of experience with contracts and how to drive contract projects and thus AB, ABT standard agreements.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English in both speech and writing.

Desirable:

• Experience with the Public Procurement Act (LUF/LOU).
• Experience with collaboration agreements.
• Experience from the electricity, power, and/or construction industry.
