Your Responsibilities

As a Roof Truss Operator, you will work in a team manufacturing wooden roof trusses. The manufacturing process involves setting up and pressing roof trusses with nail plates based on blueprints and pre-cut timber. Each object is unique, requiring a high level of quality awareness. At each press station, you will typically work in a team of two. Your role includes inventory, quality control of products, and cutting timber.

You will also work with loading and unloading goods using a wheel loader. You will load nail plate-bound roof trusses, frames, roof hatches, and prepare for transport to customers as well as unload incoming goods. Operating machinery safely and being aware of obstacles and pedestrians is of utmost importance in this role. We always strive to develop and refine our routines and processes, believing that this is key to creating efficient production while increasing engagement and job satisfaction among our employees. Improvement work is thus as important a part of our tasks as the actual manufacturing of roof trusses.

This position is a fixed-term employment starting immediately and lasting for approximately 6 months. The work is scheduled for two shifts, and other working hours may also occur. For the right person, there are great opportunities for extension.

Your Profile

As a person, you are responsible, structured, and able to find solutions to complex situations. Engagement, a strong work ethic, and teamwork skills will make you particularly successful in this role. Experience in construction work/house manufacturing or knowledge of timber production is advantageous. A forklift license B2 and a wheel loader license C2 are required for the role.

You will thrive as a roof truss operator if you find it easy to collaborate and can prioritize your work to streamline your daily tasks. You contribute quality through careful work while bringing positive energy to your colleagues with your optimistic attitude.
