Region Properties Dalarna is responsible for the property management of Region Dalarna and manages community-critical properties such as hospitals, health centers, folk high schools, and travel centers throughout the county. Our mission is to ensure that the region's operations have access to functional premises with a focus on long-term community benefit and sustainable development.

We are now looking for a property manager who wants to take overall responsibility for our southern district. In this role, you will be responsible for approximately 90,000 square meters of owned premises and about 38,000 square meters of leased premises, primarily in Avesta, Ludvika, Säter, and Hedemora, with a work field that extends across the entire county.

Region Properties Dalarna is facing several extensive and exciting investments in both new construction and renovation, which gives you as a property manager the opportunity to work strategically and closely with the operations in the development of future community properties.

Property Manager for Region Properties' Southern District Job Responsibilities

As a property manager with us, you are the main contact for our customers and the coordinating force around the properties you are responsible for. Your mission is to create good conditions for our tenants through suitable premises, while ensuring the long-term value, function, and economy of the properties.

Central tasks in the role include developing property development plans and maintenance plans, initiating and implementing property investments, ensuring well-functioning property operations, and planning and following up on leasing and rental agreements. You have a clear customer focus and work commercially to build and maintain long-term relationships with tenants. You will have the support of a competent and well-coordinated organization with technical managers, project managers, local planners, and technical specialists.

Requirements

• Experience in property management or other relevant experience working with community-critical properties
• University education as a civil engineer, engineering degree, or other relevant education for the position

Desirable

• In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Local supply, Property economics, Law, Technology
• Basic understanding of all the above areas

You can listen, negotiate, and make well-founded decisions in contact with tenants, property owners, and suppliers. You are structured, have good administrative skills, and express yourself well in both speech and writing.
