Project Manager/Investigator in Water and Waste Management

Dala Vatten och Avfall is responsible for the operation, development, coordination, administration, and planning of water, sewage, and waste management services in Gagnef, Leksand, Rättvik, and Vansbro. The main office is located in Leksand.

Much of the work we do is neither seen nor heard, but it would be immediately noticeable if it ceased. Through planning, analysis, and development, we deliver the critical infrastructure that is a prerequisite for us to live and thrive in our municipalities. Your Responsibilities

We are looking for someone with extensive experience in project management, preferably within water and waste management. You will handle projects, project planning, and feasibility studies, acting independently in contact with external parties, leading meetings, and coordinating project activities. You will ensure that results are delivered according to set goals and report directly to the project manager. In your role as project manager/investigator, you will also participate in the development of water management plans and review incoming project documentation, including proposals for reinvestment.

In the role of project manager, you will primarily collaborate with the project team, but also with other departments within water management and the company as needed.

Qualifications

• You have good experience in driving projects.
• You should be able to participate and contribute to project planning and be able to review project documentation and develop proposals for actions.
• You will be responsible for the project budget during implementation.
• You need to have good knowledge of investment calculations, project planning, and project processes.
• It is an advantage if you have worked within or with municipal water management.
• You are accustomed to expressing yourself factually, both orally and in writing, in Swedish, based on relevant legislation.
• A valid driver's license (B) is required.

About the Position

• The position is a permanent, full-time employment.
• The position is based in Leksand, but work will take place across all four municipalities in our organization.
• Start date is according to agreement.
