Job Description

Your work in our kitchen means that you, together with the other kitchen staff, will ensure that the institution's youth receive lunch and dinner prepared for 7 days a week. Working hours are Monday to Friday - daytime.

In the kitchen work, you will, together with colleagues, in addition to preparing daily meals, make orders for goods, plan the menu, pack goods, and prepare items for orders to the departments. Preparing food for special diets, salad preparation, and pre- and post-work in the kitchen, which involves everything from planning and executing cooking, dishwashing, and cleaning.

The tasks also include self-control in accordance with applicable legislation. When placing orders, one must follow the state framework agreement. You should see opportunities and think positively, as well as have good collaboration skills with other professional groups in the workplace.

Qualifications

You have training in large-scale cooking, chef training, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Experience from working in a kitchen, restaurant, or food production is an advantage. We would like you to have knowledge of traditional Swedish cuisine and/or an interest in vegetarian cooking, as well as a strong interest in preparing good and nutritious food from scratch for our youth and staff. Since you will also collaborate with other workgroups, good collaboration skills, being receptive, flexible, and service-minded are required. The ability to plan/structure and meet deadlines is very important.

You must have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as much communication occurs both internally and externally with suppliers. IT skills are an advantage. We place great importance on personal suitability.

You should have:

• Training in large-scale cooking/chef training or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience from working in a kitchen/restaurant or food production.
• Category B driving license

Employment:

The employment is permanent with a probationary period. Scope 75%. Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday.
