At Danderyd Hospital's hemodialysis unit, we treat chronically ill kidney patients as well as patients with acute kidney failure. All our work is characterized by a strong focus on care.

Our Employment Offer

The Nephrology Clinic, part of the Medical Specialties area at Danderyd Hospital, is responsible for all nephrology specialist care in northern Stockholm. The clinic currently consists of an inpatient department, Njurcentrum Nord, which includes a nephrology outpatient clinic, a self-dialysis unit, and a transplantation clinic. Additionally, there are three hemodialysis treatment units at Danderyd Hospital, Löwenströmska Hospital, and Norrtälje Campus Roslagen. The clinic employs over 160 staff members, and there is close collaboration between the units. The clinic also collaborates with Diaverum, a private company in kidney care, which performs hemodialysis treatments on behalf of Danderyd Hospital.

At the hemodialysis unit, Danderyd Hospital, we treat chronically ill kidney patients as well as patients with acute kidney failure. We are about 50 people working at the unit. The work environment is very good, and we have positive results in employee surveys and patient satisfaction surveys. We offer a very stimulating and varied work environment.

Job Description

Your main responsibilities will include care related to the patient's dialysis treatment. Other tasks include preparing treatment rooms before and after dialysis, managing supplies, and transport orders, etc.

Qualifications

Nursing students who have completed at least four semesters or medical students who have completed at least five semesters. Experience in healthcare is desirable and meritorious, but great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

You are a person who can organize and prioritize work effectively. Teamwork requires good collaboration skills and flexibility, as well as the ability to adapt to new conditions during the workday. You are service-oriented and meet patients and colleagues with attentiveness and respect. Your positive attitude is an important contribution to our pleasant workplace and cheerful team.

Hourly employment scheduled during the summer period (at least 8-10 weeks).
