About the role of Business Developer / Salesperson
As a Business Developer / Salesperson at AB Sjuntorp, you are responsible for driving and developing the company's
sales. The role has a clear business focus where you work to create and secure
profitable deals within the sale of service agreements, transport solutions, as well as rental and
sale of used forklifts and machinery.
Through regular physical customer visits within the district, you develop and follow up
existing customer relationships while actively identifying and establishing new
business opportunities and customer contacts.
You collaborate closely with service leaders and technicians to ensure high customer satisfaction,
efficient deliveries, and a strong business result, where the customer's needs and operations are always
at the center.
Your main responsibilities:
• Responsible for all sales within the forklift business.
• Drive your own deals from prospecting to closing.
• Plan and conduct customer visits.
• Collaborate with technicians and service leaders for delivery and follow-up.
• Responsible for profitability in the area.
About you
We are looking for someone with solid experience in sales within the industrial or
machinery industry and who is confident in independently driving deals to successful outcomes with good
profitability. Furthermore, we would like you to have a technical background and preferably have worked with forklifts, machinery, or other types of vehicles. To succeed in the role, you need to have a B driver's license, good system skills, and be fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written.
As a person, you are entrepreneurial and driven, with a strong commitment to creating
long-term value for both customers and the business. You thrive in a flexible role where you independently identify business opportunities and actively drive them forward. With your communication skills and presence with customers, you quickly build trust with customers
and colleagues, and you work unpretentiously and solution-focused to achieve results.
Important for the role is:
• Solid experience in sales within the industrial or machinery industry.
• Ability to drive your own deals and take responsibility for results.
• Mechanical understanding or experience with forklifts, trucks, or similar vehicles.
• Holds a B driver's license.
• Fluent language skills in Swedish.
• Good system skills.
Meritorious:
• Experience in service sales within the forklift or machinery industry.
• Holds a forklift license.
• Language skills in English.
