Do you want to play a key role in an international logistics environment where vehicles, technology, and innovation meet? We are now looking for a Customs Specialist for an exciting assignment in Gothenburg starting in March 2026.

Here, you will work closely with both the business and global flows – ensuring that imports and exports are carried out smoothly, correctly, and in full compliance. 🌐

You will be part of Test Vehicles & Logistics, an organization responsible for the entire lifecycle of test vehicles within product development. The vehicles are located in several places globally – primarily in Gothenburg, but also in other parts of Europe, China, and the USA.

As a Customs Specialist, you will be a central player in a cross-functional team that works closely with logistics, purchasing, finance, legal, and external partners. Your focus: ensuring efficient and compliant customs processes in a rapidly growing and international environment.

📍 Location: Gothenburg 📅 Period: March 1, 2026 – October 31, 2026

• Ensure that all imports and exports comply with EU, Swedish, and Chinese customs regulations

• Review and quality assure customs documentation (invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.)

• Classify vehicle components and finished products according to HS codes and calculate duties and taxes

• Monitor regulatory changes and update internal customs processes

• Conduct internal audits and identify risks and suggest improvements

• Be the contact person for customs matters with internal stakeholders and authorities

We believe you have:

• A bachelor's degree in logistics and a valid license as a customs specialist/customs agent

• Experience in customs, international logistics, import/export, or freight forwarding

• Excellent attention to detail and experience working with documentation under time pressure

• Strong communication skills – both internally and externally

🌍 Languages:

• Swedish at a native level

• Fluent English

• Experience from the automotive industry or fast-growing organizations

• Knowledge of Chinese customs handling and/or EU–China flows

• Experience with ERP systems, customs systems, and logistics platforms

• Team player with a collaborative focus

• Self-driven and proactive

• Structured and confident in your communication

• Solution-oriented and action-oriented
