About the Position

Koppers is now seeking a Technical Sales Manager for its operations in the wood protection industry. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally with sales, customer relations, and technical solutions in an international company with a strong market position.

The Swedish headquarters associated with this position is located in Helsingborg, but if you live elsewhere, you will work from home. The role involves travel primarily within Sweden and Norway, which requires good conditions for effective and sustainable travel.

Your Main Responsibilities

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for Koppers' customers in Sweden and Norway who work with wood protection treatment of timber. Your mission is to develop and deepen cooperation with existing customers and to establish new customer relationships.

Your role includes introducing new products to the market and driving and leading technical projects, for example, during upgrades or adaptations of customers' facilities for wood protection treatment.

You will be an important part of the North and Central European sales team and work closely with internal functions such as the technical and regulatory team, production, and logistics to ensure high quality and customer satisfaction.

Who Are You?

We believe you have a strong technical interest and sufficient technical competence to understand and lead projects related to facilities and processes within wood protection after an introduction. You are business-oriented, commercially driven, and motivated by development work as well as building long-term and trusting customer relationships.

You likely have experience from a sales role or a technical position within the wood industry and/or the chemical engineering industry.

The position involves work primarily in Sweden and Norway but also has international elements, which means that very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Travel is included in the role regardless of your place of residence.

Koppers Sweden AB is a manufacturing unit that produces and sells wood protection agents, primarily for industrial use.

The office in Helsingborg serves as a hub and delivers products within the wood protection industry to large parts of Europe. The turnover is around 150 million SEK. Currently, six people are based in Helsingborg.
