About the position
We are looking for someone with several years of experience in regulatory authority and change management. Experience in educational activities is a plus.
Our operations are constantly evolving and changing, which means we need to adapt and create conditions for this within the organization. As a planner with us, you will work in processes within the school area, which includes preschool, after-school care, primary school, adapted primary school, and school transport. The unit is also responsible for supervising independent preschools. You are expected to work broadly, be flexible, and be able to adapt based on political decisions that entail changes within the Preschool and Primary School Administration. You will support the unit manager in driving and following up on the systematic development and quality work for the organization.
In the role of planner, you will independently manage investigation assignments. You will also handle and make decisions on matters based on delegation. In this role, you will work strategically, which means you will prepare the necessary documentation, handle incoming inquiries at a general level, such as feedback and requests for public documents. You will be involved in the work of continuous improvements of our routines and guidelines with a focus on our area.

- drive investigation and improvement assignments
- lead the revision and creation of guidelines
- hold and lead meetings and processes related to the above
- produce statistics and planning materials within your area
About the workplace
The Planning Unit is part of the Preschool and Primary School Administration, whose main mission is to provide children and students with opportunities for learning and education. The Planning Unit consists of planners and three caseworker groups led by group leaders. The unit is responsible for, among other things, the placement of children and students, school transport, reception in adapted primary schools, and supervision of independent preschools.
Within the Preschool and Primary School Administration, approximately 4,530 employees work. We meet the young people of Örebro from their first day in preschool to their last day in primary school. Together, we are responsible for contributing to creating equal opportunities for the young people of Örebro and laying the foundation for a lifelong learning journey. Qualifications
The work involves documenting and investigating as well as leading discussions. You will have several contact points, both internally and externally, which requires you to adapt your oral and written communication based on the recipient and context. The work requires you to be able to work both independently and in a team. To succeed in the role, you should be analytical, structured, attentive, and able to prioritize.

Requirements:
- degree from a university with at least 180 credits, for example, trained lawyer or behavioral scientist
- at least two years of experience in regulatory authority or investigator within children and education
- knowledge of methods and tools for follow-up and evaluation
- experience in independently driving processes and improvement work
