Your role In your role as a substitute teacher, you help create a safe foundation for our students who need extraordinary support as well as specially designed pedagogy and social training. You are there to support the students throughout the school day, in lessons, during breaks, and possibly during leisure activities. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the students to develop their abilities and create opportunities for learning. Your tasks also include some documentation.

About Kung Saga Gymnasium

Kung Saga Gymnasium has an aesthetic focus with music, theater, dance, and art. We have about 45 students attending the school.

We work with theater, music, art, and dance combined with theoretical subjects to make teaching as concrete and enjoyable as possible for the students. We have fantastic facilities including a music studio, dance hall, rehearsal room, and a large auditorium with a stage. We are a creative and cheerful team of 30 employees. The school is located at Telefonplans torg, 1 minute from Telefonplan subway station.

Your experience and knowledge We guess that you who are applying to us: • have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people • are responsible and have personal maturity • enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues

You have at least a high school education in health and care or childcare/child and leisure or other education deemed equivalent. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group, students with neuropsychiatric disabilities and/or intellectual disabilities.

You have good computer skills and experience in documentation. Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form is a requirement, but otherwise, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and provide opportunities for growth.
