Job Responsibilities

https://mimer-ai.eu/ aims to drive innovation, accelerate the use of AI, and position Europe as a global leader in AI. We provide access to AI-optimized supercomputers and services such as training and support for small and medium-sized enterprises, startups, researchers, and government agencies.

You will primarily work in the Scientific Services group at KCSC (formerly PDC). Your responsibilities include facilitating, developing, and strengthening the national AI/ML user support. In this role, you will collaborate with staff at KTH, RISE, and NAISS partner universities.

The applicant will also participate in research activities within the NAISS infrastructure and contribute to the development of AI/ML competence in Sweden.

Qualifications

Requirements

  • PhD or foreign degree assessed to be equivalent to a PhD focusing on artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) with a specialization in life sciences.
  • Several years of professional experience in AI/ML, focusing on the development of tools within life sciences.
  • The applicant must have a good ability to reach out and inform about the operations.
  • Furthermore, the applicant must possess good collaboration skills and independence.
  • Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues with a particular focus on gender equality.
  • Good proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required in daily work.

Personal Qualities

  • As a person, you have good initiative, are responsible, and have good collaboration skills.

Meritorious

  • Broad knowledge of various programming languages used in AI and ML.
  • In-depth expertise in AI/ML related to life sciences.
  • Experience in developing and leading operations is meritorious.

About the Employment

The employment is permanent according to the agreement. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period.
