Description

We at Falkberg School in Tullinge are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications in wood and metal craft with experience teaching grades 6-9.

As a teacher with us, you play an important role in contributing to Botkyrka Municipality becoming Sweden's best school municipality, where students succeed in school and develop based on their unique abilities.

Responsibilities

In your role, you will teach wood and metal craft and Swedish, along with related tasks such as preparation and follow-up of lessons and grading. You will be part of a work team and participate in the team's joint efforts.

You contribute to a good learning environment through active collaboration in working groups. Together, you focus on the students' knowledge development. You also collaborate with other staff at the school.

You actively participate in the school's values work and work inclusively. You are committed to staying updated as a teacher and in your subjects through environmental monitoring, professional development, and collegial learning.

Mentorship is a central part of your role through social contacts with students and classes, contact with guardians, absence management, and development discussions, as well as collaboration with authorities and social services. In your role, you collaborate with the student health team.

You are expected to be able to work with digital tools in your teaching.

Qualifications

You are a clear leader with a positive attitude and a conscious approach to your teaching. You are structured and plan and organize your teaching clearly so that all students receive support and challenges.

You put the student at the center and have the ability to create a good working climate with engagement, curiosity, and safety in the group. You have good knowledge of meeting students' varying needs based on their circumstances and adapting your teaching accordingly.

You are relationship-building and easily establish good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians. You collaborate with the work team and other staff regarding all students.

You are collaborative and attentive and recognize the importance of actively working with inclusion, individualization, and student influence to meet the needs of the individual and the organization.

Requirements:

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications in wood and metal craft for grades 6-9.

Meritorious:

Experience working as a teacher in wood and metal craft and experience in mentorship
ICT knowledge (Google)
Experience with V-Class
Knowledge and experience working with students with NPF
