Vattenfall Eldistribution AB distributes electricity to households, businesses, and communities – around the clock, all year round. Our electricity network is over 12,000 miles long and we supply electricity to nearly 900,000 customers. We build, operate, maintain, and invest in our electricity grid to ensure reliable delivery for our customers.

Vattenfall Eldistribution, unit Asset Management, is responsible for the management of our facilities and electricity grid. The Network Analysis LN group works on the sizing of the electricity grid, and we are now looking for a case handler for a summer job.

About the Role

The unit is responsible for the management and monitoring of Vattenfall Eldistribution's electricity grid, focusing on ensuring stable and efficient operations.

In this role, you will handle cases related to our customers and facilities, focusing on low voltage, fault observations, and outage statistics. This is a unique opportunity to receive internal training in the profession (4–5 weeks) and then work independently in our operations center. The summer job provides you with practical experience and a deeper understanding of electricity grid operations, while also serving as a foundation for future recruitment opportunities with us.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You speak and write fluently in Swedish.
  • You are a student at a university, college, or vocational school.
  • It is an advantage if you are studying electrical engineering.
  • Experience as a line technician is a plus.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is calm and stable, even in stressful situations, and focuses on the right things.
  • Has empathetic abilities and can understand others' perspectives without taking over their feelings.
  • Is attentive, accommodating, and solution-oriented in your interactions.
  • Plans and prioritizes effectively to meet deadlines.
