Working in Värmdö municipality means the best of both worlds – the nature-close small-town feel, just a stone's throw from the pulse of the big city. During rush hour, it takes about 30 minutes by direct bus from Slussen. You start your day with a short journey over bridges and sea to our beautiful archipelago municipality. Buses run every 10 minutes. In our central location Gustavsberg, you will find our bright and fresh municipal building.

Do you want to help create conditions for people to live an independent and meaningful life? We are expanding our team and are therefore looking for an LSS case officer for our assistance unit.

The assistance unit consists of 24 dedicated employees – social workers, LSS case officers, and assistance assessors – along with three financial administrators, a housing coordinator, and a personal representative. We work closely together to ensure that the municipality's residents receive the support and services they are entitled to. Here you will be part of a professional team with a strong focus on collaboration, legal security, and the individual's needs.

As an LSS case officer, you are responsible for processing and following up on services according to the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). The job includes, among other things:

• Conducting follow-ups of permanent decisions.
• Contributing to relieving the unit's regular staff.
• Documenting and ensuring legally secure decisions.
• Collaborating with colleagues, other authorities, and operations.
• Traveling for work across the country, which requires a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a degree in social work or another relevant higher education.
• Has experience in public authority work, preferably within LSS.
• Has a good ability to structure, document, and work independently.
• Has a responsive and professional communication ability.
• Has a B driver's license.

We are looking for someone who has a degree in social work and sees experience in public authority work as an advantage for the position. We also consider it an advantage if you have worked in the operational system Combine and have experience with IBIC. It is a plus if you have experience working with the target group.

We believe you have good communication skills and the ability to express yourself pedagogically in speech and writing. You have a high sense of service and work process-oriented, both independently and in collaboration with others. You are a development-oriented person with the ability to think outside the box and maintain a professional attitude. You find solutions to emerging problems and have a good ability to plan and organize your work. As a person, we prefer that you are flexible, positive, open, and meet people with respect and curiosity.
