About the Position

Ikett Personalpartner is now looking for a Service Technician for one of our clients in Staffanstorp.

In your role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clients' machinery operates optimally through service, installations, and qualified on-site troubleshooting. You will also be the face of the company – tasked with building strong customer relationships, selling spare parts, and identifying improvements that make a difference.

Your main responsibilities include:

Troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining packaging machines and production equipment.
Installing and commissioning new lines, machines, and automation modules.
Performing preventive service and planned maintenance to minimize downtime.
Documenting work in digital systems and reporting service actions.
Providing professional technical support and service-oriented advice to customers.
Guiding and training the customer's operators in best practices.
Leading the customer in choosing the right service actions to optimize operational reliability, capacity, and production efficiency.
Identifying improvement opportunities in machines and processes.
Participating in technical training and continuously enhancing your skills.

The position includes approximately 100 hotel nights per year, with travel primarily within Sweden/Nordic countries, but travel outside the Nordic region may occur. The employment is full-time and involves direct recruitment to our client.

Your Profile

You are communicative in your customer interactions and build long-term relationships by being service-oriented and creating trust and quality. You are driven and responsible, take initiative, and have a strong curiosity and desire to learn new types of machines and technical systems.

As a person, you are structured, solution-oriented, and confident in customer dialogue, while also being comfortable leading the customer's decision-making process to ensure the best possible production results. You are flexible and enjoy a varied work environment where both mechanical and electronic challenges occur.

We are looking for someone who has:

Technical education in electrical, mechanical, industrial service, automation, or equivalent.
Experience from the packaging or production industry is an advantage but not a requirement.
Ability to read manuals, drawings, and technical diagrams.
Good computer skills and experience with documentation.
Driver's license (B).
