About the service technician position
In the role of Service Technician at DMG MORI, you will become part of an exciting organization that offers a learning development path shaped by your skills and previous experience. As a Service Technician, you will work with DMG MORI's wide range of machines and may perform everything from installation, preventive maintenance, and emergency maintenance. You will continuously face numerous technical challenges related to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and control systems (e.g., Heidenhain, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Fanuc). You will have access to a technical hotline and will closely collaborate with the service coordinators who plan customer visits weekly. Some administration occurs in the form of documentation and report writing.
As a Service Technician at DMG MORI, you will also get to visit various industries and meet several exciting customers. Travel and overnight stays are part of the job.
Your main responsibilities:
- Installation and preventive and/or emergency maintenance of machine tools.
- Assist DMG MORI's customers on-site.
- Document and write reports regarding completed work.
About you
We are looking for someone with at least a high school education, preferably with a focus on mechanics, technology, or similar. To succeed in the role at DMG MORI, we see that you have a background as a technician, focusing on mechanics, hydraulics, electricity, and/or control systems. We also see that you have experience working with CNC machines, either as an operator or maintenance technician. To succeed in the position, you need to hold a B driver's license and have a good command of English in both spoken and written form; being Swedish-speaking is a plus.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone with a positive attitude who enjoys working solution-oriented. You likely also have a natural drive and an ability to create structure among your tasks. If you find it stimulating to deliver good service and build relationships with customers, you will thrive in this role!
Important for the position:
- Experience in technical work focusing on several of the following areas: Electricity, hydraulics, mechanics, or control systems.
- Experience working with CNC machines.
- Experience in similar roles such as service technician, operator, maintenance technician, or similar.
- Good language skills in Swedish and English.
- B driver's license and the ability to travel and stay overnight for work.
Meritorious:
- Previous experience of traveling for work.

Start: Immediately, by agreement.
Extent: Full-time, 100%
Location: Flexible – Stockholm, Örebro, Jönköping, Gothenburg, Malmö, and nearby areas.
Salary: By agreement.
