About the Position

As an Operations Technician, you will play a central role in the on-call team, ensuring that the hospital's technical equipment and facilities operate optimally around the clock. You will work in a dynamic work environment where no day is the same, and you will have the opportunity to work with advanced and varied technology alongside competent colleagues. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Performing preventive maintenance and repairs on the hospital's technical systems and equipment such as ventilation, control systems, cooling systems, waste disposal systems, pneumatic tube systems, etc.
• Quickly and efficiently handling urgent technical problems
• Documenting and reporting work and actions according to established procedures
• On-call duty evenings and weekends on a rotating schedule to respond at short notice when needed

Security-Classified Workplace:

Södersjukhuset is security-classified, so you will undergo a security screening before employment.

About You

We are looking for someone who is service-oriented, self-driven, and proactive. You are a meticulous and quality-conscious person with strong problem-solving skills. You work in a structured manner and are resilient under stress. Furthermore, a very good ability to collaborate and communicate is essential – both with internal and external parties.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• Relevant technical education and previous work experience in the field
• Experience from similar tasks, preferably within a hospital or healthcare environment
• Good technical knowledge and problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team
• Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
