Job Responsibilities

As a specialist dentist with us, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced specialists and develop your own skills in an exciting and varied environment. You will work with referred patients from both general dentistry and healthcare, and as a consultant to general dentistry. Your responsibilities will also include conducting training for various professional groups as needed.

We maintain an open dialogue with each other, where all functions are important for our patients to receive good care. You will have the opportunity to plan your time together with the team and develop your specialist skills.

About the Workplace

The Specialist Dental Clinic is part of the health and medical care administration in Region Västmanland and is located at Västmanlands Hospital in Västerås. The clinic is divided into three units. The oral rehabilitation unit includes departments for dental physiology, endodontics, periodontology, prosthetics, and pedodontics. The orthodontics unit includes orthodontics and our central sterilization. The oral surgery unit includes oral surgery as well as departments for orofacial medicine and dental radiology. The clinic is situated in modern facilities, and we have approximately 80 employees.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed dentist with specialist training in oral prosthetics. You who are a resident dentist nearing the end of your specialist training are also welcome to apply. We will gather information from educational supervisors regarding the examination date. Previous research experience is an advantage. Since the role involves record-keeping and communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues, we expect you to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

You are a confident and stable person. Since the work can change rapidly in various ways, we see that you have the ability to be flexible while maintaining your calm in stressful situations. You are self-driven and take responsibility for your tasks. Furthermore, we see that you have the willingness and drive to do your best for the patient. Since a large part of the work involves teamwork and close interaction with both patients and relatives, you need to have good collaboration skills.

Permanent employment: Full-time, employment rate is negotiable

Location: Västerås

Start date by agreement.
