Care Staff at Sjöbacka Care and Nursing Home

The facility has 8 apartments and a patio overlooking the beautiful Tavelsjö lake and meadows. Here lives the house cat Musse, who spreads warmth and joy to residents and visitors. We are an intrapreneurship with a strong local anchoring where employees have a significant influence over the operations. We are now looking for you who want to work as care staff with us!

Your Tasks

With a professional approach and a good attitude, you assist our residents in their daily lives. The residents' right to participate is in focus, and you contribute to ensuring that services are performed with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan.

You will assist with personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your tasks also include documenting actions and health status as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the responsible nurse.

Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in care and nursing work, preferably within nursing homes or home care. We also prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant or caregiver who has previously had medication delegation, but this is not a requirement.

In your interactions with the residents, you demonstrate good professional competence based on personal maturity, responsibility, and a well-developed empathetic ability. You have a genuine commitment to both users and the organization, which is evident in your attitude and working style. You work safely and independently, are patient, and take initiative when the situation requires it. At the same time, you have good collaboration skills and work well with colleagues, relatives, and other professionals. Personal suitability is highly valued.

To communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues, write and access care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you need to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

As bus schedules do not always align with working hours, it is beneficial if you have a driver's license and access to your own car.

Heavy lifting occurs, and mobility aids should be used.

As pets are present in the workplace, you should not be allergic.
