Professionals Nord, in collaboration with our client, is looking for a Bid Engineer in electrical power for their operations in Västerås. Here, they work with the manufacturing of advanced low-voltage solutions and customized control equipment for the Swedish industrial market. The team consists of experienced specialists with high technical competence and a strong culture of collaboration.

The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant for our client. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied.

Job responsibilities
As a Technical Bid Engineer, you will be a central part of the bid group in Västerås, which works to adapt global standards to Swedish requirements and deliver complete bids to customers in the industry.

In this role, you will:

• Receive and analyze bid requests – often with detailed technical specifications
• Translate customer requirements and load lists into technical solutions and calculations
• Work in internal configuration tools and compile complete offers
• Collaborate closely with our clients' sales teams to drive the process forward
• Participate in internal handovers, product planning, and technical reviews

We are looking for someone who

• Has education or experience in electrical power, preferably with experience in low-voltage switchgear
• Has experience in bid work or technical solutions within the industry
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English
• Experience with Salesforce and configuration systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of automation or mechanics is a plus
