The Park Unit consists of 27 people, of which about 20 work with the maintenance of Sundbyberg's parks, nature, and urban environments.

As a seasonal employee in the Park Unit, you will work with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's park facilities, squares, playgrounds, and other urban spaces. You will perform daily maintenance of the outdoor environment in the city with varying tasks.

We are looking for 4 park and sanitation workers for the summer. The position is for 6-8 months with a start date in March/April. Working hours are 06:30-16:00 Monday to Thursday and 06:30-13:00 on Fridays.

Your tasks mainly involve sanitation, weeding, and watering. Trimming, mowing, and planting are also included. The work is physical and takes place outdoors. You will also be an ambassador for the city and our operations in public spaces. There is also an opportunity to be a mentor for summer-working youth.

We want you to have an interest and experience in sanitation and gardening. Gardening education or equivalent competence is an advantage. A minimum of a B driver's license is required.

Furthermore, we want you to have good professional ethics and promote a good working environment and safety at the workplace. Since you will cover for regular staff on vacation, it is important that you are driven and can work independently, but also in a team. We place great importance on your personal qualities, professional skills, and commitment.
