The Heart Clinic consists of several different specialist clinics for patients with heart and vascular diseases. In addition to nurse-based specialist clinics within our various teams, such as anticoagulation, arrhythmia, pacemaker/ICD, heart failure, and ischemia, we also have doctor and physiotherapist clinics.

We currently have a team of 25 employees, consisting of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapists, biomedical analysts, and medical secretaries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

At the Heart Clinic, there is a strong research tradition where you will play a key role. Your responsibilities include assisting in the initiation of new studies and being the one who manages and organizes the research process. The work also involves handling samples and the documentation required to conduct a clinical study. You will play an active role in facilitating the recruitment of study participants and ensuring that colleagues have the right information and resources for research to be an integral part of the operation.

In this role, you will work broadly across the entire heart operation and communicate with patients as well as research partners through various channels. Here, you will work closely with other nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, paramedics, researchers/monitors, sponsors, and study participants. Continuing education in both clinical research and the cardiology field is a given part of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. You have language skills in Swedish that at least correspond to level C1 according to the Council of Europe’s scale. We also want you to have good IT skills and strong knowledge of English.

Previous work with research and training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is an advantage. Experience in cardiology is desirable.
