About the role

As an electrical and alarm teacher at Astar, you will teach adult students both practically and theoretically in courses such as Electrical Engineering, Electrical Theory, Installation Technology, and Security Systems. You will plan and conduct teacher-led instruction with a clear structure according to the Astar model, focusing on safety, quality, and ensuring that all students have the right conditions to achieve their goals. The role also includes actively sourcing, matching, and following up on APL placements within the electrical and security industries in close collaboration with the labor market, as well as making regular visits to students and supervisors. Together with your colleagues, you will contribute to creating professional pride, persistence, and joy at work among our students and within the team.

The position is full-time with the possibility of immediate start or waiting for a notice period.

We are looking for someone who has a teaching license in the subjects or substantial experience as a teacher in the field. If neither of these two requirements applies to you, we kindly ask you not to apply.
