We are now looking for more Shift Managers for Parkfood & Snacks who want to help create magical moments for our guests.
About the position
As a Shift Manager at Parkfood or Snacks, you will lead the daily operations in one or more units, either within Snacks or Parkfood, and work closely with your team to ensure that each day runs smoothly, efficiently, and with the guest experience in focus. In the role of Shift Manager, you are at the heart of the business. You are both a leader and an operational force, showing the way by being present in the daily work. You have personnel responsibility for your team and are responsible for staffing, leading and coaching your employees, introducing new colleagues, and creating a cohesive team that delivers service at the highest level. You will be a role model, a culture bearer, and an important force in Parks and Resorts' vision: to deliver world-class overall experiences – every time.
You will among other things:
- Lead the daily operations of your unit/units
- Set goals and focus for the day based on the park's overall direction
- Optimize staffing, flows, and work distribution to create efficient and safe operations
- Work with ongoing feedback, coaching, and support for employees and introduce new employees to the team
- Ensure that routines for food hygiene, safety, and quality are followed
- Manage staffing and be responsible for scheduling issues such as leave applications, breaks, and sick reports.
- Drive development of your unit/units
- Follow up on sales, key figures, and take action to strengthen your unit's profitability
- Ensure that the unit is well-stocked, properly signposted, clean, and organized for a first-class guest experience
Qualifications
- High school education is required; post-secondary education in leadership, service management, or equivalent is an advantage.
- Desirable experience in operational leadership, preferably within the service, entertainment, or tourism industry.
- Desirable experience in staffing planning and scheduling to optimize resources in a guest-focused operation.
- Experience working with guest interactions and delivering high service quality in a fast-changing environment
About you
You are results-oriented, flexible, and a present leader who coaches, engages, and creates good collaborations. You are passionate about delivering strong guest experiences and are a natural bearer of the business's culture and values.
You have a good financial understanding, work confidently with key figures and digital tools, and have the ability to improve operational processes. With your strong organizational skills, you create structure and clarity, and you communicate well in both Swedish and English.
Employment
The position is a seasonal employment and we are looking for someone who can work most of our summer season in 2026. The position mainly runs from the end of March to the beginning of September but also includes training and occasional workdays earlier in the spring. Working hours vary depending on low or high season and are adapted to the business's opening hours where the schedule varies between daytime, evening, and weekend work.
For this position, you need to be over 18 years old and able to communicate in Swedish.
The application deadline is 2026-02-15. Selection is ongoing, so send in your application today. We only accept applications via our recruitment platform. If you have questions, you are warmly welcome to contact the responsible manager Linn Påhlsson at [email protected]
