About us

Mjellerumsgården is reopening in an idyllic setting in Valla, where nature, culinary joy, and creativity meet. We are building a restaurant from the ground up – with heart, laughter, and high ambitions.

Planned opening: May 2026.

About the role:

As a cold kitchen chef with us, you are an important creator behind the whole:

• Create and be responsible for salads, brunch dishes, and other cold dishes
• Work with color, form, structure, and taste – an eye for detail is crucial
• Ensure that plating and presentation always feel fresh, thoughtful, and inspiring
• Be involved in menu development and new ideas
• Have some natural contact with guests during serving and inquiries, but the majority of the work takes place in the kitchen
• Be curious and willing to sometimes work in the hot kitchen if needed
• It is a big plus if you also have experience in the hot kitchen

We value flexibility and the willingness to help across kitchen boundaries.

Who are you?

We believe that you:

• Are a creative and meticulous person who loves to create
• Have a sense of aesthetics, presentation, and details
• Thrive in a fast-paced kitchen but with order
• Are confident in your craft and enjoy collaborating
• Have experience from the cold kitchen – and preferably also from the hot kitchen

Experience is meritorious – but creativity, responsibility, and the right attitude weigh heavily.

Employment

• Extent: 100 %
• Working hours: Mainly daytime, evening work may occur during bookings
• Start: April or by agreement
• Location: Mjellerumsgården, Valla
