About the Company

Avaron AB is a growing consulting company focused on technology, finance, and operational support. We match your expertise with the most interesting assignments in the market and offer a platform where your development is at the center.

About the Assignment

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Supply Chain Manager who will take overall responsibility for purchasing planning. The role combines operational execution with a business-oriented, strategic perspective where the goal is to optimize the balance between availability, inventory levels, and cash flow.

You will work with several warehouses: a central warehouse in Sweden that supplies markets in Northern Europe, as well as subsidiaries with their own warehouses in Spain, France, the UK, and Poland. Production takes place in China with an approximate total lead time of four months (production and sea freight).

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage purchases based on budget and continuously updated forecasts in close dialogue with the sales organization per market.
  • Analyze outcomes and history to make well-considered decisions in an environment with uncertain forecasts and rapid changes.
  • Ensure production according to the order plan through ongoing contact with factories.
  • Place monthly orders and adjust existing orders to optimize inventory levels.
  • Actively work with inventory management to avoid stockouts while minimizing excess inventory considering liquidity and inventory values.
  • Collaborate closely with sales to enable business-oriented delivery setups, such as rerouting flows when necessary.
  • Contribute to development by questioning, structuring, and simplifying the purchasing process.
Requirements
  • Experience in purchasing planning with long lead times.
  • Familiarity with working across multiple warehouses and markets.
  • Experience in close collaboration with sales and forecasting responsible parties.
  • Ability to work independently with uncertain forecasts and rapidly changing conditions.
  • Good understanding of the interplay between inventory levels, sales, and cash flow.
  • Ability to drive improvement by structuring and simplifying purchasing processes.
Desirable
  • Experience with international flows with production in Asia and sea freight.
Application

Our positions may be filled before the application deadline, as we handle applications on an ongoing basis. We therefore recommend that you apply as soon as possible.
