The Municipal Executive Office (KLK) is one of the municipal board's administrations and is responsible for leading and coordinating a variety of municipal-wide assignments. In addition to strategically steering and coordinating the municipality's projects, the task is to be the ultimate support for the municipality's seven administrations. To see needs, analyze, create conditions, propose ideas, and challenge issues that are important for the municipality, the group, and our community development. All is carried out with quality, heart, and a touch of attitude.

The Municipal Executive Office consists of the municipal chancellery, HR, finance, IT, communications, development, planning, and business departments.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Höganäs municipality is ramping up for summer and is now looking for an engaged destination sales representative who wants to help create first-class hospitality for our visitors.

As a destination sales representative, you are one of our most important ambassadors for Kullahalvön. You contribute to inspiring visitors to stay longer, experience more, and get a positive impression of our destination both on-site and digitally.

The visitor service is run by Höganäs municipality's business department, which works to develop Kullahalvön into a sustainable year-round destination. The role of the destination sales representative is varied; you meet visitors in different environments and contexts, and it is important to be social and take the initiative for conversations. At the same time, it is important to be responsible as much of the work is done alone.

You work both operationally and administratively, with everything from customer meetings in the physical environment to digital communication on social media.

As a destination sales representative, you will among other things:

  • Perform administrative work within recreation, culture, tourism, and outdoor issues.
  • Work and drive around in the tourist bus, a specially built van with a fully equipped office that serves as a tourist information center.
  • Promote Kullahalvön as a destination through personal customer meetings in physical environments.
  • Promote the location through digital channels.
  • Respond to incoming calls, emails, and questions via digital platforms.
  • Distribute brochures and informational materials to partners, which involves some heavier lifting.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements

  • Driver's license.
  • Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing (additional languages are an advantage).
  • Good service sense and ability to represent the destination in a professional and personal manner.
  • Knowledge of Kullahalvön is an advantage.

Scope and Conditions

  • Employment form: Hourly employment.
  • Scope: Estimated to correspond to about 80% of full-time.
  • Work will take place Wednesday-Sunday from week 26 to week 32.
