The City Service Administration has an important and exciting mission to deliver, coordinate, and develop services for residents and administrations in the city of Mölndal. The administration has approximately 550 employees and is organized into four operational areas: meals and local care, water and recycling, city maintenance, and staff and customer service.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are now looking for a service-oriented Operations Technician who works with corrective maintenance and operational optimization.

Examples of job tasks include:

  • Operational optimization of the property portfolio.
  • Administration & action of energy declarations, OVK inspections, pressure vessel/cooking vessel inspections, refrigerant inspections.
  • Supervision, repair & action of waste equipment, garbage pipes, odor functions and surface layers, centrally connected refrigeration equipment, ionization equipment.
  • Supervision, repair & action of heating systems, ventilation, electricity and water, sanitation and sewage systems including sanitary goods, grease and oil separators, water locks, sewage wells, control systems for ventilation, heating & cooling.
  • Installation rounds of ventilation, heating & cooling systems.
  • Ordering in Proceedo and assisting with procurement issues.
  • Posting incoming invoices in Agresso.
  • Performing ordered operational adjustments.
  • Introduction of new employees and mentoring of interns.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a 2-year YH education in property, energy, or installation technology. You have documented professional experience in property management with modern installation systems, or experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

In the role of operations technician, it is important that you have good collaborative skills, are flexible, and responsive in contact with both colleagues and customers. You are driven, engaged, and have the ability to maintain a high level of service to our customers and work systematically with problem-solving.

The position requires that you have:

  • The ability to read drawings and flowcharts.
  • Knowledge of electrical, control, and regulation technology, primarily Schneider, Siemens. Documented knowledge in at least one of these systems is required.
  • Good knowledge of energy optimization.
  • Good knowledge of ventilation and heating systems.

We expect you to have good computer skills and be proficient in the Office suite, as well as be able to handle control and monitoring systems and work orders digitally.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
