Job Description

Angeredsgymnasiet is a secondary school with both national and introductory programs, as well as a National Gymnasium for students with mobility impairments. Here, joy and enthusiasm are as natural elements as knowledge and development. We are convinced that students who thrive and feel joy in their work also succeed better in their studies.

You will work in the sales and service areas at the school, belonging to an FS work team. You will be responsible for planning and implementing education in close collaboration with your colleagues in the work team.

In your role as a mentor, you support students by being knowledgeable about their needs, following their studies, and being involved in the goal of achieving a high school diploma. As a mentor, you build relationships with students and maintain contact with guardians.

In collaboration with school management and colleagues, you contribute to creating good conditions for the school's students to thrive, develop, and achieve their goals. As a vocational teacher, you also have contacts within and follow developments in the relevant industry.

You conduct well-being visits and final assessments of students who are out on APL.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a teaching certification at the upper secondary level and is qualified to teach sales and service. You have professional competence and current industry experience in the field.

You have good digital competence and use digital tools in your planning and teaching.

You gain energy from contributing to others' learning, and you create conditions for learning to take place. You have the ability to explain problems and information to different recipients and from different perspectives. You encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.

You have the ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals. By being interested and creating understanding for others, you contribute to a respectful work climate. You understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole.
