Site Manager Signal Technology at BDX Rail

BDX Rail is now looking to strengthen the organization with two site managers for the maintenance contract on the Northern Malmbanan focusing on signal technology. Location Gällivare or Kiruna.

As a site manager at BDX Rail, you will be responsible for task distribution, planning, and control within your area of responsibility, which includes coordinating resources and monitoring the project's progress. You enjoy working both independently and in a team to drive daily operations towards the project's goals. As a site manager, you will report to the site manager, where your main tasks include:

• Planning, leading, and distributing tasks towards the project's goals.
• Participating in daily production management at the workplace regarding time, quality, work environment, and cost.
• Ensuring that assigned work environment tasks are followed and that work is performed according to applicable regulations.
• Coordinating resources on assigned projects.
• Daily documentation of deviations and questions.
• Participating in inspections and meetings.
• Establishing and conducting work preparations.
• Ensuring that contracts and agreements are adhered to towards the customer.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least a high school education focused on Electrical Engineering, or another equivalent education. Perhaps you are currently working as a signal technician and are curious about taking on a leadership role. Or have you previously worked in a leadership role and have a strong interest in the railway industry? We welcome experience from other industries, but experience in the railway industry is an advantage.

A site manager at BDX Rail is characterized by courage, commitment, and acts as a role model. You are confident and structured. You lead your staff by motivating and setting a good example for your group. Since you will have many different points of contact, it is important that you have a relationship-building approach both internally and externally, where you value good collaboration. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability during the selection process.

Requirements

• Driver's license B
• Proficient computer user
• Administrative skills
• High school education focused on Electrical Engineering, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• According to the Swedish Transport Administration and Transport Agency's safety and competence requirements, the ability to communicate in Swedish, both orally and in writing, is required.
• Since the work is performed outdoors throughout the year, we are looking for someone who enjoys working outdoors in all weather conditions and likes to work physically. The tasks require good physical capacity. In accordance with the Transport Agency's requirements for safety services, a satisfactory health examination will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.
