Information about the position

NYAB is a young company built on decades of experience in the industry. Over the years, NYAB has completed hundreds of projects and large-scale construction work. NYAB continues to expand rapidly and now needs to strengthen the team with ground workers for the establishment in Luleå.

Of course, you will initially receive an introduction to get into the company and the role in the best possible way. You will work full-time during the high season from May to November 2026, with good opportunities for further employment with NYAB, provided that both parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job Responsibilities

As a ground worker at NYAB, you will have a varied everyday life where you work on exciting projects at the company's clients. You will work with:

• Ground work for foundations
• Paving
• Adjustments for asphalting
• Ground work for foundations
• Water and sewage work such as excavation, pipe laying, stormwater and drainage work
• Work according to drawings and work descriptions
• Collaboration with machine operators, supervisors, and other professional groups on site

The tasks may vary depending on the current project and will primarily take place outdoors. Of course, you will have access to a company car to easily get to the various projects. You will mainly work daytime Mon-Fri 07-16, but there may also be weekend and evening work.

We are looking for you who

For the position of ground worker at NYAB, we are looking for someone who:

• Has previous work experience or education in ground/engineering (for example, water and sewage, paving, and/or stone laying)
• Has a B driver's license
• Master Swedish in speech and writing

We also believe that your personal qualities are important for how you will thrive in the role of ground worker at NYAB. We see that you are an initiative-taking person who is ready to develop within the ground industry. It comes naturally to you to collaborate with others, but you are also comfortable working independently.

It is also an advantage if you have experience in reading drawings and hold ESA, Work on the Road, and Safe Construction, but it is not a requirement for the position.
