Construction Manager Wanted at Eltel in Kiruna

Do you want to lead this summer's most important infrastructure project? Eltel is looking for a construction manager in Kiruna, a central role from planning to final delivery.

We are now looking for a construction manager for the Malmfälten region during this construction season. In this role, you will experience a fast-paced environment with varied tasks. You will have a central and diverse position where you work both in the field and in the office.

As a construction manager, you will play a key role in the projects and act as a link between Eltel's own technicians, subcontractors, and the client. You will be involved in the projects from start to finish and be responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out according to plan.

You will closely collaborate with production planners, designers, and clients. You will maintain ongoing dialogue with the end client and subcontractors.

Examples of tasks:

• Lead and coordinate fieldwork
• Ensure that projects adhere to timelines and budgets
• Establish and follow up on schedules in consultation with project managers
• Be responsible for resource planning and efficient use of materials
• Ensure that the right materials, drawings, and maps are in place
• Print documents (often in paper format for excavation work)
• Keep a diary and document project progress
• Manage and coordinate subcontractors
• Conduct inspections and safety rounds
• Ensure that the work complies with applicable laws, regulations, and construction technical requirements
• Follow the client's instructions and regulations

The work will be located in the Malmfälten region, and you may also need to support our operations in other locations in Norrbotten.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be considered for the role, we prefer that you have experience in the field, preferably in fiber technology. Experience in earthworks and construction is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have knowledge of contract law.

You are a driven and structured person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident in making decisions, prioritizing, and coordinating resources. You are communicative, collaborative, and solution-oriented. You should have the ability to build good relationships and take responsibility in a central role between different parties in the projects.

Furthermore, you are meticulous, quality-conscious, and safety-focused. You should also have the ability to plan, document, and follow up on work correctly. You are flexible, independent, and unpretentious, and you enjoy working both in the field and in the office. You see work in Malmfälten, as well as in other locations in Norrbotten when necessary, as a natural part of the assignment.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as travel is part of the job. It is advantageous to have a BE license.

This is a consulting assignment; if hired, you will be employed by StudentConsulting and work on-site with the client. This is a position for the upcoming peak season.
