About the company:

Mora Automation and Robotics AB specializes in developing, designing, building, and installing robotic solutions for the manufacturing industry. We offer a range of standard solutions for robot cells for machine tending while also custom designing solutions for our clients.

Our clients are primarily within the manufacturing industry in Sweden, ranging from small mechanical workshops to international corporations. We have been around since 1999 and currently have 9 employees with a wide spectrum of competencies and many years of experience. We are located in modern and fresh premises in Orsa.

The position;

As a designer with us, you will be involved from the first sketch to the final solution. You will work with both simpler components such as safety barriers and more advanced constructions like grippers, fixtures, and tensioning devices that are part of complex robot cells involving mechanics, pneumatics, and electronics. It is a broad role with great variation – no two days are the same with us.

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to take on a more project-leading role, where you will be responsible for projects from order to installation.

In the role of designer, you will have significant responsibility while working closely with a team of helpful and friendly colleagues with different competencies. We are a small workplace where we support each other, help out with what is needed, and ensure that everyday life flows smoothly with both laughter and teamwork.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a technical education background and a few years of experience in similar work. You are used to working closely with the business, thrive in an environment where you can collaborate with others – but you are also self-driven, responsible, and accustomed to pushing your tasks forward independently. You have a clear interest in technical problem-solving and are motivated by finding solutions.

We believe you are a structured and confident person who finds it easy to plan, prioritize, and adapt – even when a lot is happening at once. Sometimes things move quickly here, and you need to be able to stay calm, keep order, and create progress. One of your strengths is your ability to see the big picture while also managing details, especially in construction and drawing work. You communicate and collaborate easily with both colleagues and clients, and you express yourself fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
