Your role

As Maintenance Manager for the mine in Garpenberg, you have 10 dedicated supervisors in your immediate team with a total of 110 employees. Together with your team, you are responsible for the maintenance of mobile machines, fixed installations, as well as electrical and automation systems. You work on developing maintenance strategies, working methods, and structures that create the right conditions for subordinate managers and employees to work safely, efficiently, and sustainably. You are part of the management team for the mine and report directly to the Garpenberg Mine Manager. You will be a key person in leading safety and operational reliability work by creating clarity, engagement, and good conditions during an expansion phase.

The position is located in Garpenberg and you work daytime Monday to Friday.

Your contribution

  • Engineering education in maintenance or other technical education combined with relevant experience.
  • Previous experience in maintenance work
  • Experience from the mining industry or other industrial operations with complex operations and high safety requirements.
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
  • Computer literate and experienced with the Office suite
  • Driver's license B
