Your role as a Laboratory Technician
The work primarily involves ongoing manufacturing control of crushed and asphalt products, mainly regarding composition and analysis of mechanical properties, field sampling is also included. The job encompasses everything from receiving and registering samples to analysis and reporting results to customers. The operations are conducted according to accredited methods and industry regulations.

We are looking for someone who at least has a high school education or equivalent with a technical focus. You may also have a degree from a technical education at the university level. Previous experience in laboratory testing and quality work is an advantage. You should have good computer skills, analytical ability, and be able to express yourself well in both speech and writing, as we have high demands for documentation and reporting.

 
We are looking for someone who is positive and has good social skills. You are quality-conscious, analytical, and organized. Flexibility and a willingness to learn new things are important traits. Since we work in teams to achieve our common goals, it is important that you enjoy working in a group with your colleagues. A large part of the work is performed independently, so it is important that you are motivated, can take initiative, and work independently.

The position is a seasonal employment during the period of April to September, full-time, based at our road laboratory in Gustafs, and travel may also occur.

A driving license (B) is required. Working hours are during the day, and overtime may occur. The job involves some physical work with heavy lifting.
