Quartermaster Wanted at GE Mitt

Genomförandeenhet Mitt (GE Mitt) is seeking a quartermaster to be placed in the unit's staff in Enköping. GE Mitt operates to ensure the Armed Forces' ability to communicate and lead, around the clock and throughout the year. The unit's departments (GA) are spread across 6 locations within Military Region Mitt (MR M) and consist mainly of technical personnel in various technical fields.

GE Mitt Staff is divided into functions consisting of various specialist competencies and supports C GE Mitt in leading the unit's departments and production.

Main Responsibilities

As a Quartermaster, you will be responsible for leading and developing the unit's logistics. The Quartermaster participates in staff work and supports with all types of tasks within the logistics area. Examples of tasks include:

• Mobilization at the unit
• Preparing supply and procurement matters
• Inventory responsible
• Material service
• Technical service
• Transport service
• War planning
• Conducting training for personnel in the unit, such as GSU and Combatant.
• Exercise planning

REQUIREMENTS

• Employed or previously employed in the Armed Forces in a logistics position
• Knowledge of FM material processes
• Knowledge of the systems LIFT and PRIO
• Driving license B

As a person, you are open and social with good collaborative skills. You are service-oriented, responsible, and analytical, and you perform tasks with high quality. You can work independently towards set goals and are proactive in various processes.

MERITS

• OR6-7 or OF2
• Experience as a Logistics Officer/Quartermaster at least at battalion level.
• Experience and knowledge of the Armed Forces' command and communication equipment.
• Heavy driving license qualifications
• Instructor or training experience in one or more areas such as vehicles, transport, logistics, medical care, firearms.

Start date: By agreement.

Permanent employment, 6 months probationary employment applies for those not employed within the Armed Forces.

Work location: Enköping, travel to other locations in the country may occur.
