Temporary Position as Chef

One of our valued chefs will be on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for a substitute who wants to step in and become part of our kitchen team. At Matpolen, we prepare food with care and quality for elderly care, home care, the OBS department, as well as schools and preschools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a chef at Matpolen, you will have a varied and meaningful job where you, together with colleagues, are responsible for the entire meal chain in a large kitchen. The tasks include preparation and cooking of both regular and special diets, plating, dishwashing, cleaning, and service to our guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

The work is characterized by good collaboration and team spirit, and we are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, is flexible and service-oriented. At the same time, you have the ability to take responsibility and work independently when the situation requires it. You have good planning skills and a genuine commitment to food, quality, and service.

The basic requirement for the position is a restaurant education at the high school level or documented experience of working in a kitchen or restaurant that the employer assesses as equivalent.

We would like you to have training and/or practical experience in food hygiene and allergy management. Since the work involves handling special diets, recipes, and various types of lists and documentation, it is important that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and can express yourself well in both speech and writing.

The salary range for this position is between 26,000 - 28,000 SEK/month full-time. We apply individual salary setting based on your experience and competence.
