Welcome to Lugnet Cafe & Restaurant

Lugnet Cafe & Restaurant opened for the first time in the summer of 2024, and we are now heading into our third summer season. The restaurant accommodates up to 60 dining guests indoors and several outdoors on our large veranda by the water. The venue is modernly decorated and is bright and spacious.

Job responsibilities include taking table reservations, leading the serving staff, planning work shifts, welcoming our guests, serving, showing to tables, informing about drink options, ordering drinks, creating drink menus, selling, processing payments, and managing the cash register, among other tasks.

The restaurant is small and intimate with a limited number of seats, which means a smaller team where it is important that everyone can help where needed.

As the role involves significant interaction with both guests and colleagues, it is important that you have good communication skills and speak both Swedish and English fluently. We are looking for someone who is ambitious, responsible, communicative, and able to handle stress. You need to be able to work both independently and in a team. Previous experience in food and beverage is an advantage.

You will have the opportunity to live on-site during your employment.
