Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, you will work with varied and meaningful tasks, including:

• Supportive, caring, and follow-up conversations
• Health checks
• Medication administration and evaluation of medication treatment
• Telephone advice
• Administration in 1177
• Documentation in the journal system Cosmic
• Collaboration in teams, both within the clinic and with other care providers

Coordination Function

The role also includes a coordinating responsibility, for example:

• Coordination with inpatient care
• Keep yourself updated in Cosmic Link and functional mailboxes related to collaboration
• Coordinate Link and SIP cases in connection with discharge from inpatient care
• Maintain contact and ongoing updates with discharge coordinators within inpatient care

Collaboration with the clinic's rehabilitation coordinator

• Coordinate sick leave cases
• Follow up rehabilitation plans

About the Workplace

Within Region Västmanland, all adult psychiatry is gathered in one organization, which creates good conditions for a cohesive care chain and close collaboration between units. Adult Psychiatry Västmanland consists of inpatient care and outpatient care. Inpatient care is located in Västerås and includes five care departments and an emergency reception. Outpatient clinics are located in Västerås, Köping, Fagersta, and Sala.

At the clinic in Sala, we offer specialist psychiatric care to individuals whose needs cannot be met within primary care. The work is primarily clinic-based, but home visits occur together with a colleague. Digital meetings are also part of the work.

In the team, there are doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, and medical secretaries. Together, we create an educational work environment with high competence and great commitment to our patients.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.

Meritorious are:

• Specialist education in psychiatry
• Experience working in psychiatric services
• Knowledge of the journal systems Cosmic and Cosmic Link
• Experience with coordination responsibility

As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You find it easy to collaborate and cooperate, are solution-focused, and communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other care providers. You work in a structured manner, take responsibility for your tasks, and have a genuine interest in psychiatric care.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. We place great emphasis on personal suitability as well as an empathetic and professional approach.

• Working hours: daytime
• Start date according to agreement
