We are looking for a sub-project manager in railway – Electrical/Signal for Trafikverket.

The assignment is a consulting position with a base location in Östersund, Sundsvall, or Härnösand. The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The assignment involves acting as a sub-project manager in Electrical/Signal Railway in Trafikverket's Northern region, connected to the unit IVnrj2. The projects are primarily carried out in Jämtland and Västernorrland counties and cover phases from planning (if necessary) to production and handover to management. The consultant will be placed in Trafikverket's offices in Östersund, Sundsvall, or Härnösand and will work closely with the client. The assignment also includes knowledge transfer to Trafikverket's employees.

Responsibilities

Distribute, implement, and follow up on project work in consultation with the client and in accordance with governing documents.

Initiate, prepare, implement, and follow up on the project together with the project organization and central support resources regarding time, cost, content, quality, safety, work environment, and environment.

Establish necessary timelines in collaboration with project participants and suppliers.

Prepare calculations and budgets according to established routines.

Be responsible for establishing necessary agreements with external stakeholders and stakeholders.

Ensure that necessary operational meetings are held, such as production meetings, construction meetings, financial meetings, technical meetings, and design meetings.

Lead periodic project meetings.

Perform the work in collaboration with and under the direction of the client.

Follow up and drive projects to meet requirements for time, cost, and content.

Ensure that norms, facility requirements, and regulations are followed by the designer and/or contractor.

Assist with technical advice.

Requirements (Mandatory)

University education, technical orientation, at least 180 credits (120 points), or equivalent knowledge assessed by the client as equivalent. The technical knowledge must be within electrical or signal technology in railways.

Have completed training to function as the client's construction work environment coordinator, Bas-P and Bas-U (scope at least according to recommendations from the Swedish Work Environment Authority, scope 48h).

Be able to express oneself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

Hold a valid B driver's license.

You should have knowledge of laws and regulations as well as standards and regulations in relevant areas, such as electrical safety, traffic safety, work environment, and environment.

You should have completed BASÄSKYDD (SoS leader) and have conducted annual repetition (authorization must be current).

At least 5 years of work experience as a sub-/project manager or in a supervisory/construction management role from railway projects including EST work. The supervisory/construction management role should have been from either Electrical or Signal (or combined). The work experience should not be older than 8 years.

Reference from at least 2 contracts with responsibility for electrical or signal (individual technical area or combined), either as a sub-/project manager or from a supervisory/construction management role. Assignments must have been performed in the last 8 years and with a contract sum of at least 30 million SEK.

You should have 5 years of experience in contract follow-up and work with consulting and contracting law (AB, ABT, ABK, AMA, MER, RA).

You should have experience in financial management and forecasting.

You should have experience in conducting production planning of railway contracts to determine the need for times in the track.
