Do you want to lead BIM development in exciting infrastructure projects? With us, it's possible! Introduction In the Digital Solutions department, we focus on safe project execution within BIM and digital project management. Here, you have the opportunity as a BIM Coordinator to help develop the industry and create added value for our customers, with a focus on safe project execution in information management. We are growing and are now looking for an experienced BIM Coordinator with experience from the infrastructure sector. The starting point is Stockholm, Gothenburg, or Malmö, but we are looking for employees across the country as we work flexibly and digitally.
As part of our team, you will use your experience to support both colleagues and clients, as well as strengthen our deliveries. We like to stay ahead and test new and smart solutions. Therefore, we believe in the freedom and opportunity to put your own stamp on how you want to work and use your skills to take our work to the next level.
Responsibilities In the role of an experienced BIM Coordinator, you are a key person in our assignments, acting as the spider in the web and having overall responsibility for BIM coordination. You are responsible for ensuring that the client's BIM requirements are met in projects and coordinate several disciplines while communicating at all levels of the project. You are involved from the start and work at a strategic level where you are responsible for methodologies, smart processes, and conditions in your projects. To keep up with the rapid development of the industry, you stay updated on trends and solutions related to BIM, project portals, and quality.
Your tasks include, among others, the following:
Develop strategies, guidelines, and manuals for BIM in assignments for clients
Establish and control delivery specifications (LOD/LOI)
Compile coordination models
Visualize and manage information in models for coordination and presentation.
Lead BIM coordination meetings
Review deliveries based on the quality of the models.
Conduct training in the subject area
Act as support in projects for BIM-related questions
Spend a number of days at the client's site
You are also responsible for setting up project areas and project portals and ensuring that everyone works towards the same vision regarding established strategies and secure the project's progress with a focus on BIM. In the role of an experienced BIM Coordinator, you are also expected to work with mentorship and training of more junior colleagues, guiding, sharing knowledge, and delegating tasks to your junior colleagues.
Qualifications We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably in combination with a project in the infrastructure sector. You have an understanding of the various stages of the construction process and how it affects delivery requirements. We see that you have a strong interest in graphics and see the opportunities to integrate innovative and communicative tools into projects.
We are looking for someone who is motivated by finding or creating smart and efficient processes using technical solutions. To fit into the role of BIM Coordinator, you should also enjoy having a lot going on and be able to manage and coordinate a large amount of information across multiple projects. Since we often work in multidisciplinary and complex projects, you need to be attentive, pedagogical, and solution-oriented. You are also relationship-building and can handle communication at all levels.
Since our deliveries are mainly in Swedish, it is important that you are proficient in the language, both spoken and written.
We see that you have knowledge of one or more of the following tools:
Common BIM coordination tools in infrastructure (e.g., Navisworks, Quadri, Bentley iTwin, etc.)
BIM tools that connect the case management system with models (e.g., BIM-Track, BIMcollab, etc.)
It is also advantageous to have knowledge of one or more of the following tools:
Bentley Microstation
Bentley ProjectWise
Bentley Promis.e
Bentley OpenRail
Civil 3D
FME
Visualization tools (e.g., Twinmotion, Bentley LumenRT, 3Ds Max, etc.)
For us, it is important that you enjoy your work, so we place great emphasis on your personality. You are social and have a genuine interest in the industry and its development. Your engagement in projects is contagious, and you spread a positive aura in your projects.
