JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your placement will be in the kitchen at Kallingeskolan.

We are looking for a kitchen assistant who has a burning interest in food as well as knowledge and experience in cooking. Your tasks will include preparing meal accompaniments and salads, etc. You will be responsible for the daily production and quality assurance of the food. Other tasks in the kitchen and restaurant such as dishwashing, cleaning, and unpacking goods are also included. You will also organize and improve work methods together with your colleagues in the kitchen team. You will follow a central menu.

You will be involved in developing the operations, ensuring that set goals are achieved and guidelines are followed, and contributing to and working for a good working environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a catering education or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent.

You have previous professional experience as a kitchen assistant. You have good knowledge of catering production, special diets, relevant legislation, self-control, and kitchen economics. The work requires good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good computer skills.
