Emploid has received renewed trust and continues our collaboration with an international company in the manufacturing industry, located in Landskrona. The company is now in need of a Strategic Purchaser who can eventually shape the role and take on increased responsibilities. About the Role

In the role of Strategic Purchaser, you will play a key role in purchasing and supply planning. Initially, you will work with operational purchasing and supplier management, while gradually moving towards more strategic tasks and developing the purchasing processes.

We are primarily looking for a person with a proven track record of operational and strategic purchasing within a production-based technical industry. Experience in logistics is also an advantage. It is important that you have a drive and a desire to develop in the role. For the right person, there may be opportunities to expand their area of responsibility over time. Your main tasks include:

- Responsible for demand planning and sending requests for quotes.

- Create purchase orders and plan deliveries of the components involved.

- Ensure timely deliveries and manage any deviations.

- Maintain and optimize the ERP system with supplier and item data.

- Negotiate prices and contract terms and manage supplier evaluations and relationships.

- Contribute to developing routines and processes for purchasing and supply planning.

- Plan and optimize inventory levels.

- Analyze and evaluate suppliers and their offers to ensure alignment with the company's goals.

- Contribute to leadership by distributing tasks and supporting the team when needed.

- Be a relationship builder both internally, as the role will involve many contact points between different departments, and externally as you will be responsible for relationships with various suppliers.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in strategic purchasing or supply planning in a technical industry, with ambitions to take the next step in their career. You thrive in a project-based environment and have the ability to build trust both internally and externally. You also need to have strong analytical skills and be able to create a holistic view of the business. The ability to adapt quickly to customer-specific requests is also important. To succeed in the role, we see that you have:

- At least 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing or supply planning within an industrial environment with a technical focus.

- Good understanding of ERP systems and Office 360, especially Excel.

- Post-secondary education in purchasing or logistics.

- Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

- Technical understanding and experience working with technical components.

- Flexibility and an entrepreneurial spirit with a willingness to take initiative and the ability to see the overall needs of the business, suppliers, and routines.

- Previous leadership experience is advantageous but not a requirement – the most important thing is that you have the ambition and potential to develop in such a role.

- Experience in logistics is also a plus.

Extent: 100%

Working Hours: 08:00-16:30 with the possibility of flexible hours.

Salary: According to agreement.
