Job Description

The Road & Rail business area at AFRY has won several infrastructure projects and framework agreement procurements! We are therefore focusing on growing to meet demand and becoming even stronger in road, street, and land. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our team and help develop our operations as a road and land designer.

The Road & Land Design West section has employees in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, and Skövde and works with everything from investigations to detailed design and project management within land, street, road, and water supply. The work encompasses both early phases and the establishment of tender documents, construction documents, and to some extent also follow-up during the construction phase.

At AFRY, we work closely with other divisions and sections in multidisciplinary assignments, and we learn from each other across technical boundaries. We possess great expertise in many different areas, which means you will have good support in your work and in your own development. You will be based in one of our offices in Gothenburg, Uddevalla, or Skövde.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have 3 years of experience or more in design within the road, street, or land area. You likely have a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or have acquired equivalent knowledge in another way. You have good knowledge of AutoCad Civil 3D or Novapoint and are well acquainted with AMA. Since AFRY is an international company, we expect you to be proficient in both Swedish and English in both spoken and written form.

Regardless, you are innovative and enjoy working independently, where you can help develop the business in terms of both methods and content. If you work well with others while taking responsibility for delivering results independently, you will thrive with us. Since we primarily work with authorities and municipalities, the basic requirement is to be able to handle Swedish both spoken and written.
