ValueOne is looking for a Production Planner for one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Ovanåker municipality. The client has a vacancy in the organization and the need for this competence is ongoing. The role is initially filled through employment with ValueOne with a clear ambition for over-recruitment.

About the role

As a Production Planner, you will be responsible for creating, optimizing, and following up on production plans that ensure an efficient flow throughout the manufacturing process. The purpose of the role is to balance capacity, material availability, and delivery requirements, as well as to contribute to continuous improvements in the planning process.

Main tasks:

• Create production plans and actively work for ongoing optimization.
• Ensure that the planning is correct and updated in the business system.
• Proactively identify and address bottlenecks, capacity deviations, and material shortages.
• Follow up and analyze the outcomes of production planning and drive improvement initiatives based on data.
• Contribute with system expertise and be a key person in the development of planning routines and processes.

Experience and competence

We are looking for a person with solid experience in production planning within the manufacturing industry and a strong ability to optimize production plans considering capacity, materials, and lead times. You have good system skills and are proficient in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have a post-secondary technical education in, for example, industrial economics, as well as experience in master planning, S&OP, and the business system Monitor G5.

As a person, you are proactive, analytical, and structured with the ability to work both independently and in teams. You have good communication skills and are used to taking responsibility for driving the planning work forward.
