The Role of Psychologist

In the role of psychologist with us, you will primarily work on conducting psychological assessments, examinations, and psychotherapeutic treatments in collaboration with doctors and other professionals in the unit. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to work with DBT. We offer good opportunities to combine more working hours in outpatient work if desired. There is also some possibility for remote work by agreement. As we are a training clinic, we view further education within the role positively, and if you have an interest in research within the field, there is also the opportunity to work with evaluation and method development in the organization. The role is a permanent full-time position, with start date by agreement.

Your Future Workplace

At the Psychiatric Clinic Höglandet, we are about 190 employees. It is important for us to always have the patient in focus. We create trust and good conditions for effective qualitative specialist psychiatric care through a holistic view and continuity in the care chain. In our work, we meet adults in the municipalities of Aneby, Eksjö, Nässjö, Tranås, Sävsjö, and Vetlanda. The clinic's resources are distributed so that we take into account both the clinic perspective and the regional psychiatric care processes. We participate in the development and implementation of joint care programs and psychiatric care processes in the region.

In our unit, we handle all patients who fall within the specialist psychiatric care commitment in the catchment area regarding assessments. We meet patients for in-depth assessment and evaluation regarding neuropsychiatric disabilities and bipolar syndromes. In the referral and assessment unit, there are doctors, psychologists, nurses, psychiatric aides, occupational therapists, and administrative staff. The referral and assessment unit is also responsible for depression treatment with transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) and ECT for patients with established contact within the clinic.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed psychologist, preferably with specialist competence. If you have training and/or work experience in DBT, we see it as a positive. Regarding personal qualities, we prefer that you are self-driven in your working style and are proactive and structured in your work. Since collaboration is a large part of our working method, it is also important that you enjoy working with others.
